Seaholme kobudo equipment is for use in a controlled martial arts environment under supervision of an experienced instructor. Equipment is ‘non-live’ (not sharpened) but still can be heavy and dangerous, therefore in purchasing you must accept that you are training at your own risk and any injury resulting from use (or misuse) is your own responsibility.
Wooden items have been designed with light contact in mind, but you are responsible for maintenance and monitoring your equipment; if you notice any sign of damage or wear and tear, stop training with them.
Metal bladed kama are for non-contact kata only; the metal edge will damage wooden weapons.
Use your common sense, keep your equipment well maintained, be aware of your surroundings and look after yourself and those around you.
